If I buy a car in Darwin to travel Auz for 6 weeks or more,then aim to sell it in Adelaide area before flying away -any suggestions on what’s a good buy

I dont really want an off road adventure as on my own and being stuck in the outback isn’t really my thing! So how much should I pay – and dont mind a dealer making a living if I get a reasonable deal! Hiring one way looks like is will cost me $4000 dollars or more so that’s set a bar to work to
