  So you are staying on the Gold Coast and travelling back up to Brisbane for an excursion? That’s a fair way to go. To be back in Brisbane by 8am you’d want to leave the coast at least by 7am if you were driving. Public transportation will take much longer. Can you change your accommodation to stay in Brisbane a few nights?Otherwise best way back and forth is to hire a car and drive but that will be expensive by the time you add in parking.
