Hi there , my wife and I are spending 3 days in Melbourne early November and just wondered what the best way to get from the airport to the CBD is and whether we need to pre-book?

Uber, taxi, or skybus is the options - you’ll only need to book ahead if you choose the skybus. There’s a 1000 wineries mate, also we have brilliant Gin distilleries here in Vic. You just need to narrow down your preferences and maybe add in a day or two… Bear with me it’s 1am here 🫣😵‍💫*Yarra Valley region which is in and around Lilydale, Healesville, Yarra Glen, Yarra Junction, Coldstream, Seville, Warburton. Can you say 4 Pillars 🤣? If you are thinking of hitting Healesville Sanctuary this would be a good option. *Mornington Peninsula also where the Country Mountains meets the beach (it’s a top favourite of mine). Mate, wineries and distilleries from Mornington all the way to Portsea, local produce and top eats as far as the eye can see! Great spots are Red Hill, Merricks, Main Ridge, Cape Shank, Fingal (oh and then you could hit the hot springs!). I’ve traveled to many places internationally, but standing at the top of Arthur’s Seat will always be fůçking home 🤘.*Mount Macedon and Daylesford regions mate there’s literally too many county towns with little boutique inns and small wineries to name. The area is known for unwinding and relaxing. *Geelong region has wineries and distilleries scatter from Bannockburn all the way to Bellbrae and Deans Marsh. Top spot for those who wanna surf then drink cos you’re travelling off the GOR. *High Country which is in and around King Valley, Bright, Beechworth, Milawa, Myrtleford. You’ll feel like you’re going all the way to woop woop, but once you’re there it’s country elegance. Beechworth Honey is the best you can get here in Vic!
